Well as normal as life can be with both parents working and not showing much interest in their son. That changed when he hit his teenage years during which he became the victim of extreme bullying despite not having done anything to deserve it. One of the humiliation he suffered was hit as a baseball target and his bullies won points on which part of his body was struck. This left him with inner scars and he began to dream about sending an article about "common DNA in those being hated" to some oversea academic committee at some point in his life.After leaving the school, he worked as a game engineer and underwent a makeover with piercings on his forehead, nose and tongue. Niragi simply wanted to look like something that was willing to pick up a fight. He pretty much always aimed at having the upper hand in every situation. Despite what many people think he is pretty insecure deep inside and he simply wants to avoid getting bullied ever again.Once he finds himself in the Borderland Niragi is one of the earliest members of the Beach society lured by Boshiya. Probably inspired by Gandhi's motto quoted by Boshiya, Niragi is also determined to change himself to be the one who inflicts pains and hatred on others. Again this is a sign for his inner fear to become a victim again. Naturally, he joins Aguni's "martial sect" and is in charged of sniper in game (if weapon is permitted by the rule) so he can be reverenced.After the events at the Witch Hunt and he gets burnt by Chishiya with a handmade flamethrower. Next the encounter with Aguni follows and as he comes to his senses the next time he has become a day goblin. Which means he acutally died of his wounds but because he has a strong attachment to the world of the living he doesn’t move on to the afterlife.Instead Niragi is faced with this new existence and what it means to be not human anymore. This new opportunity can either mean there will be some change within him for the good or that he will fall deeper into his own madness.
About day goblins
- In order for them to be able to take their human form or to simply keep existing they need something to keep them bound to the world. Memories work or people special to them or having found a new purpose in life.- Often there is something in their human’s life that they regret or that gets them sorrowful. Sometimes those things are related to a certain object that triggers a certain vivid memory in them.- Day goblins are dangerous creatures because their attachment to the world comes either from anger or pain.- A lot of day goblin’s want to become stronger and in order to do that they need to suck the yin energy out of human. But if they drain them of all of it the human will die.- Day goblins will always be the age they were when they died. This is way a lot of night goblins to live with their own kind. Living between humans could mean they have to move so people won’t wonder why they always stay the same.- Day goblins just like night goblin’s can’t lie and should they ever try to they will faint. But that doesn’t mean a day goblin can’t master the art of lying again.- Day goblins are like their name suggest mostly active during the day, when their power is awoken. This power is connected to the yin energy they possess and if they manage to have their powers under control and deal with the yang energy during the night and be active then as well.- If a day goblin should truly fall in love with a human they can make them their bride or groom. The couple will be connected by the red string of fate that will tie them together forever. This bond can only be broken if the goblin decided to untie the string of fate again.- Binding themselves to a human means that their fates will be connected. At some point the goblin will start to age again and in the end once their loved one passes they will follow. And the red string of fate will make them find each other again in the next life.- A goblin tied to a human will still possess a goblin’s power and will be able to use it. It will simply become easier for them to be awake during the day.- Should a child be born from such a connection it will be a human and have the same fate.- Note that day and night goblin’s don’t get along.- Also each goblin has their own powers which they can use.- Despite being told in stories goblins can’t make gold.
Verse information
Verse 1:In this verse each thread will play out in the Borderland even though Niragi has the ability to go back to the world of the living. Note this is a choice that he made because he believes in this world it is easier for him to become stronger. And he also feels he doesn't belong into the real world But that doesn’t mean it is impossible to make him leave there and take someone out with him.Verse 2:In this verse he made his way back into the normal world. He does remember what happened in the Borderland and this knowledge affects him. Also note it is possible for Niragi to go back into the Borderland at will.Verse 3:In this verse Niragi gets thrown back in time once he becomes a day goblin. This will allow other muses to become part of the story and maybe be in some of the games with him. He can't jump ahead in time again but he does know what happened at certain points in time as the timeline wasn't interrupted.Overall notes: Only his location changes depending on the verse but not who he is. It's possible that there will be come character development but there won't be an overall change of who he is. In my mind that would destroy the character.
